@juansharks and I got MARRIED!!! We eloped in a super remote fav secret place surrounded by so many sharks and a few amazing humans. I feel incredibly happy, grateful, and lucky to have found my soul mate, love of my life, my “Juan and only” @juansharks #JuanSharks aka #MrShark There are more things that I love about him than I could list in an IG post but they obviously include the fact that he loves sharks and the ocean like “I do.” Grateful for the sharks bringing us together and keeping us together for so long and so grateful for the absolutely amazing people who have been so supportive of our relationship and efforts for sharks. A lot of sharks and a few of our ohana (parents, brothers, & 2 close friends) joined us and helped make the celebration extra special, my incredible brother @eliasharks and amazing Sister in law @hbutter who braved sunburns to photograph, drone, & play with the sharks and us.  The special day would have been chaos without my brilliant and sweet maid of honor and favorite long time seaster, the amazing @michelelbarnes & so grateful the uber talented, sweet, fun, bad-ass Sharky best man fav @big_island_billy who joined us too and also helped capture some of our favorite and very significant moments like the underwater with the shark photo @juansharks is posting. Staying remote for a couple days and then back to work, can’t wait to share more and thank you to all those who have been so supportive of @Juansharks and I all along and those that support conservation and research efforts through  @oneoceandiving @oneoceanconservation @oneoceanresearch @oneoceaneducation @oneoceanglobal @oneoceanhawaii @oneoceansharks @waterinspired #oneoceanohana #oneocean #mr&Mrsshark #mrandmrsshark  Special thanks to Juansharks ohana #JCAbusaid @isabella_abusaid @truegritphilosophy who also helped capture & make the moments memorable xoxoxo Music free by www.BenSounds.com #married #wedding #sharkwedding #itofficial #love #lava #sharklove #couplegoals #shark #sharks #paradise #sharkparadise #JuanAndOcean #Ocean #mrshark #mrsshark #helpsavesharks #weddingwithsharks #sharkywedding #honeymoon #elope #tropicalwedding #oceanwedding #oceanramsey

Heart bursting happiness!!!!😍😍😍 I could stay with them alllll day. Love them so much! Shark pups! Vid shot on iPhone by my now official #Husband 😱🥰🥰🥰 @juansharks who would always rather take photos than be in them 😝 ha ha 💞 Omg though these sharks are precious!!! My heart feels like it’s exploding and I ….don’t even have words, when I swim with them my mask floods from non stop laughing, ha ha. They are so unbelievably cool to hang with. These are a larger species of nurse shark and while they do have powerful jaws, suction, and small teeth they are relatively harmless. Humans are the ones killing sharks everyday, not the other way around. If you don’t know what shark finning is or shark fin soup please google it and speak up against it and shark fishing. It would break my heart to see one of these individuals killed out of fear or ignorance or for a wasteful bowl of soup that is sometimes served at weddings in some parts of the world as a social status symbol. Happy to have live sharks at my wedding. Sharks are better alive please #helpsavesharks speak up against #sharkfishing #sharkfinning #sharkfinsoup #savesharks #sharkwedding #mrandmrsshark #foracause #sharkconservation #mrsshark #mrshark #sharkcouple #oceanramsey #juansharks #oneocean #oneoceandiving #oneoceanglobal

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! MAHALO! MAURURU for all the sweet congrats and loving comments on @juansharks and my wedding 🦈🦈. Overwhelming amount of congratulations in comments and so many text I can’t even get back to everyone especially while still remote with limited cell/Wi-Fi for a short Sharky honeymoon ❤️🦈❤️ Much lava ❤️ For the support and also for everyone who wrote in for the HB808 bill for shark & Ray protection in Hawaii, relieved to hear it passed to the next level, was stressing trying to get the webpage to load to login to vote in support but I did it and enough people did too that the committee voted in favor, fins crossed this is the year the amazing sharks in Hawaii get the protection they need and deserve. Much shark love to you and yours. Photo by “da best man” @big_island_billy with the help of my amazing bro @eliasharks seaster in law @hbutter and my amazing maid of honor #DrMicheleBarnes @michelelbarnes 💕💞💕💞🦈🦈🦈🦈 #mrandmrsshark #sharkwedding #sharks #shark #trashthedress #couplegoals #couple #underwaterlove #sharkcouple #savesharks #helpsavesharks #savetheocean
